McBain

Player Valuation: £80m
Who? School Team
When? 1996
Age? Probably 17
Opposition? Killarney High School
Where? Hilton Moore Park

Rare moment up front for the school side, McB , a hat-trick of headers to put us into the Regionals. We went on to lose the next game to the Sydney 'Wogs', probably because I only got 5 minutes at the end of the game.

Best thing you've ever done on the pitch?

Good work for a Aussie that.

best thing ever done on a pitch? Nailed my girlfriend at school on the footy pitch does that count?

It doesn't just count, I think it wins the thread

Who? Rock Sports FC
When? 2008
Age? 27
Opposition? Plough Dukes
Where? The Fortress

Came on as second half substitute against our main league rivals, losing the game at that stage 2-0. A hat trick later and we won the game 3-2. My glory was there for all to see, as a facebook group was created in my honour, asking where people were when I scored that hat trick. It was a defining moment as I've just realised I've done nothing since then.....

Who? Winchester Hurricanes (yes named after the kids cartoon The Hurricanes)
When? 2007
Age? 26
Opposition? The County Arms
Where? Kings Park School Winchester

In the days where I played as a lone striker (Sign me up Moyes FFS). We were fighting for the title against competition owners and arch rivals The County Arms. I'd scored a massive total of 0 in 5 games and was on the verge of being benched. I had to up my game.
The match arrived...I had to perform. 5-0 win later, all 5 for Smith. I got so battered that night.

Pretty much since then i've played in goal!

Who? Schoolboy Team
When? 1999ish
Age? 11
Opponent? No Clue

It was the last match of the season and we had run roughshod over the league having outscored our opponents by an aggregate of (some crazy number i dont recall, say 145)-0. The second half was about to start and we were leading 5-0 or something when the coach told me that I was going in goal for the rest of the game. Well wouldn't you know it but halfway through one of our defenders conceded a penalty meaning it was up to me to keep us as The Greatest Shoolboy Team The World Has Ever Seen. Needless to say there was immense pressure as I fiercely stared into the shooters eyes. He clearly trembled under my steely gaze is he wimpered and shot straight at me on the ground and I made the easiest penalty save you will ever see as we went on to finish our season long clean sheet. After the match we had a party with cake and it was fun.

Last saturday at u6's footy coaching, the kids had to stop their parents from getting the ball by shielding it, I executed a perfect Fellaini rob and left my 4 y.o. looking like Bellamy, he had to stand with the ball on his head waiting to be freed. whilst I moonwalked on the astro turf.

Who? Town Green FC
When? 2003
Age? 14/15
Opposition? Fazakerly Barlows FC
Where? Burscough's ground.

We were sworn enemies being the two best teams in the craven minor league and played the final of the League Cup at Burscough, i was always that kid who was faster at running then everyone else and i couldn't half hit a shot. We used to play 4-4-1-1 with me on me billy upfront and me mate, Joey Burke, in just behind to ping a few passes over to me. Being a derby match, a cup final and at Burscough's ground with a few scouts about it was a rather intense game for sunday league sides. It ended 3-2 to us and i scored two and then set up, Joey, for a cracking volley to win it. As a result i got to keep the trophy we won cause my manager said we wouldn't have won it if it wern't for me and i got myself a nice little trial at Everton.

The Everton trials went well tbf, all the lads on trial played a match against the Everton under 15's, i scored two against them and hit the post with an overhead kick from outside the box and yet they never signed me on, if only they did, though, i'd be well better then Victor.

On another note, i still hold the record for top goal scorer in consecutive seasons in the craven minor and most goals in a season (45 in 19 games)
