Brianna Ghey murderers found guilty of murder, both the young adults. 28 separate knife wounds and ran off leaving her to die. Hopefully life sentences mean something close to, 45 years a piece will do it, no parole, just time to serve and lessons about violence and the coming to terms with being murderers and the hate crime lessons therein. Got to be a path to rehabilitation, but it has to be a long one. Knife carrying scum. Hope the families get worked over very thoroughly by social services, dwp etc.

Still, I agree that a long sentence is appropriate. Agree there should be an attempt to rehabilitate an offender, if at some point, they are to be released...
They were arrested by the police within 24 hours of the offence. The police have gathered and presented enough evidence for a guilty verdict. If you feel so strongly about this crime, perhaps you could give a nod of appreciation to the police officers who helped solved it, and helped secure a successful conviction?
Well done to plod for doing the job they signed up to do.
In a much more serious tone, I thought Brianna's mother spoke very eloquently in the circumstances, and more power to her for it. A quite hideous event ending in such a needless waste of life and for what, spurred on by hate crime. The 'dark web' aspect I expect to be explored more because 'snuff vids' shouldn't be available to anyone, least of all young adults/teenagers/adolescents.

I’m properly unqualified to know the scientific or Social underpinnings of the internal feeling and expression of gender in those who feel they don’t fit into the normal sense of self identification.
But I reckon that the demonising and othering of those people by a government, who have the aim of division via a culture war, in order to secure themselves an extra few thousand votes, is probably a tactic which has entirely predictable negative consequences.
I’d imagine the sniper would fully appreciate that.
