Gonna be absolute carnage in E Sector tonight.

Am I the only one happy James looks likely to stay? (I can't believe I just had to type that... our fanbase is mental lol )

I think once the window shuts Benitez will have no choice but to bring him back into the squad. Given Benitez isn’t a fan, he isn’t going to be starting every game he’s fit for. On the flip side Benitez isn’t an idiot, he’s tactically astute and I think in the games that suit James, the games teams sit deep and our pace isn’t as effective he will use him to break teams down. Maybe not from the start but off the bench if we haven’t made a breakthrough. This should ease the load on him physically and maybe he might not suffer as many injuries.

On the flip side you might argue he might not be motivated to not be the main man. To that I’d say there’s a world cup next year. James might not be here come the end of the season but 1) There’s qualifiers andafter the World Cup snub he’s going to want to play his way into that squad given he hasn’t officially retired 2) He’s going to have to impress even if it’s to get a club to be playing when the World Cup is on and get picked.

For me, if he’s here when the door shuts I’m confident this season he’ll be used when Benitez needs him and I doubt he’s going to mess around

Not posting that in E Sector or GOTs servers will be getting used in a murder trial when one of them mutants tracks me down and burns my house down while I sleep

haha, I don't know mate, that holiday bloke, seen some rubbish in that thread over the time but he is defo up there with the best of them.

He our resident aspiring psuedo-intellectual. Simultaneously trying to be the wise, above-the-fray fellow who sees both sides, all the while posting infantile comments like "right wing bad" and correcting people's spelling.
