If like me you know that the Liver Birds were ours from the day we were a football club, the mere sight of them C***S over the park :@having them on the sh*te shirt of their's will turn your stomach. When put to him that the vast majority of Evertonians want it back in its rightful place, our shirts (along side our badge or on the sleeve's would be nice me thinks,in Silver maybe....Mmmm,Yeah!)our PR Officer Ian Ross had this to say-

Everton's PR Officer Ian Ross says: "We have no plans to attempt to reclaim the Liver Bird symbol. I think even the most devout Evertonian knows that the Liver Bird is now synonymous with Liverpool FC (the [Poor language removed]).” (19/02/10)

OMG FFS!this man represents us.Until now I had a certain respect for Mr.Ross.not now.
Would you like,as I do,to put your opinion to him about OUR Birds?

You can get him here...I will be-ian.ross@evertonfc.com

Lets make it clear boys and girls.Remember.Not so long ago the sh*te tried to Copyright OUR birds.Cheeky B******S!:@

So because you disagree that is reason to lose respect for the man?

I have grown up with the tower and personally, I think the bird doesn't suit us.

I agree with tom and sharpy, if the bird was originally blue and as it is a symbol of the city of liverpool than why not have it as part of our identity. For too long we have taken it up the arse off them both on and off the field, its time to stand up and be counted in both areas.

It is tempting, think of the council who in all honesty think the [Poor language removed] rule and lefts be honest its the perfect reply to the saddos, your city you could not even keep the ******* bird:lol::lol:

its worth it just to annoy them be a lovely copyright battle in court very expensive and would add to there downfall every little helps

I'm not a Scouser but I 100% back the idea of the Liver Bird being reclaimed in some form., perhaps even as something worked into the shirt in a ghosted pattern, the way Man Utd used to have a cameo of Old Trafford in the weave of their shirts.
