Meanwhile, the Redshoite slipped out to 40/1 for the title!

Any truth to the rumour that all bookies have stopped taking bets on LFC winning the passing league? Nailed on for it apparently.

I'm surprised a lot of money hasn't been placed on us to finish top four, there are some excitable chaps out there, certainly amongst our own fanbase. I actually think 4th place is up for grabs this year, most of last seasons top 7 seem weaker in my opinion.

Is it not affected by the number of people who've bet on it? In other words, the odds are kept so short by the number of their deluded whoppers who actually think they have a chance of winning the league.

I made a few quid last year backing against the RS for that very reason, the Newcastle game at St James' park being the prime example. Liverpool were in the middle of a losing streak and newcastle were flying but despite tis the RS were favourites . Good times b)
