I think the Aussies showed the ability to dig in when in serious trouble, which they were early doors.
They got a bit casual when the pressure was off towards the end of their innings.

Even in the steve waugh days we've been notoriously poor chasers, unless we bowl you out cheaply you are definitely in the box seat as it stands.
