Making a bob or two in the 20/20 cow corner is all very well but if you don't practise your defensive strokes you are courting humiliation.
I can see Anderson and broad calling it a day after this series, why should they put their raging bodies through lots of effort and hard work if they aren't being supported, their averages will be taking a kicking the longer they stay with these hopeless berks
Anderson is class, amazing at 39 he's still just as good as ever.
he is, broad is class too. The bowling hasn't been too bad, too short at times but they've passed the bat an awful lot with little joy and some simple dropped catches.
Yeah it's your batsmen bar joe root that have completely let you's down. Our batters have a soft underbelly as well but usually at least 1 of them can stand up if smith and marnus don't score runs. Was travis head in the 1st test and harris despite being fairly useless hung around today to make the score mildly respectable. Your openers are like watching 2 number 11 bunnies trying to lay bat on ball.
