I believe in certain forms of censorship. Its only natural for society. You need it. Kids need to know that they can stay kids for at least a while, without being exposed to stuff they really shouldn't.

I'm not saying we should be China, but we need some common sense.

this dangerous ideology is part of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Trust me, whilst no amount of words on a piece of paper will remain perpetually infallible - this little collection of words has taken millions of deaths, the clash of cultures and a million fights against prejudice, oppression, hatred and pure evil to win for all of humanity. I for one wouldn't want to let it go lightly.

whilst we should have watersheds on TV and protect children from exposure to violence and adult themed films, and advertisements for junk food etc. I believe in free speech. I also think a large part of the protection of children must be down necessarily to the parents.

Incitement to violence is of course another issue. As you say some common sense must prevail.
