in memoriam - 1965-2024
Watching it now, (thanks to Mrs Roydos Sky +).

Memories from our more, *ahem* mature members?

IMO, the music was BOSS!

don't remember the 70's myself like

but did watch this prog' the other day, very good too

reckon Bowie was the best solo artist of the 70's

probably Floyd best group of the 70's for me

Who dya mean by that , lid .. ???

Koff Roydo ..

Me Ma told me SOME of the Music was as good as theres EVER BEEN ..

So she said , anyways ...

Ha ha! Nice one pal. Saw your photo mate, Our Generation I reckon!

(For the record, not sure any members of GOT could be described as "mature" any rate!)

The Grateful Dead and Hawkwind (with Lemmy), the kinks, Capt. Beefheart played a festival near me in the 70's.

It was organised by none other than a young Jeremy Beadle.

Zep? Pistols? Abba?

fk sh!t Zep, how could I forget !!!!

Zeppelin were the best group of the 70's for me, closely followed by Floyd

I'm a big fan of The Who but I put them as a 60's group, but then again they done Quadrophenia in the 70's

aaargh now I'm thinkin of The Clash too FFS

OK, OK, I can't pick the best group of the 70's, there's too many

(Pistols were boss but only one real album, really)

There's a whole lot that falls under 70's that you forget about.

The 70's were boss especially for a Primary school kid, had my first everton kit, played in the school team etc etc.

Never got to Goodison because my parents weren't interested in football, I could hate them for that but don't.

Music was awesome, still have heaps of it on my ipod and make the kids listen to it (they love it BTW)

*starts crying, wished his parents had been interested and taken him to GP, maybe I do hate them a little, maybe not, I don't know.
