This 4th minute thing is absolute bullshit - everybody knows what Howard done for the club and what he meant to the fans. This clapping in a certain minute fad is a perfect example of why football isn't what it used to be - we will look like whoppers IE Geordies!
It's not as if anyone will be asking the players to join in though is it. It's a tribute to a legend of the club, possibly the greatest of the greats. Nothing more.

Either embrace it or ignore it, but there's really no need to belittle it.

I'm not normally a fan of that sort of thing, but that minutes applause was boss today.

I reckon he'd have enjoyed it.

I imagined you standing up reluctantly, putting hands in pockets before begrudgingly joining in (despite how much you thought of Howard lol) and then loving it
 
They should have all sang Howard kendalls Blue and white Army for about 5 minutes would have been a bit more special, we clap for loads of people.

Why the fourth minute anyway?
