Reidy's Bottle Of Grecian

The Unobstructed View
Anyone ever had a shellfish reaction ?

My hands are covered in lumps, bumps and blisters that the doc reckons is a type of eczema and after some narrowing down it sems it may be the lobby that caused it, she said her husband gets it from scotch that has had something added to give it colour (I was gonna say "you mean cheap scotch"), itchy as feck and driving me round the bend.

Hey Reidy you might have a reaction to Iodine mate. Shell fish is high in Iodine, if it is the Iodine go and get your Thyroid checked out, you might have Hyperthyroidism.

nah just a rash on my hands mate, may not have been the lobster but is the only thing I had that I dont eat regularly, the 1st diagnosis involved things that burrow into your skin but that's now been ruled out and they say it's a reaction to something I've eaten or drank, has to be the lobster I reckon.

*hopes it's not the pear cider.

If you thought it was mites then it could be a little bit of Lichen Planus mate. It's a type of dermatological rash that can be a bit like mite bites, as in small pin prick red very itchy marks. It's not something you catch, but already have inside you, and tends to come out especially if you've had a period of stress, or been run down. Certain foods, especially spicy can bring it on too. Only very extreme cases are in Google images so don't be searching lol or you'll just get paranoid. The bad news is you can get it on your todger too, or in the mouth and tongue. Simple cortizone cream is all it needs, though it takes a while to settle, and often months. Some docs don't diagnose it correctly first time round and whip out the Lyclear lol, so worth asking your doc to consider it. It can also look like waxy circles, or silvery marks depending where you get it, but often it looks just like little pin prick mite bites. Can drive you up the wall. Nowt to worry about if it is though mate.

not that bb. these aren't like bites, more like blisters, fairly sure it's off the food and not bites as there aren't any signs of being bitten, they are almost like the blisters from getting burned.
this cream she gave me reeks though, awful smell.
