'THANKS' ?

At the end of the day the song is correct. Only liverpool could nearly kill a Bulgarian waiter and come out of it as the victims. Defies belief

Wasn't "Everton Fan" Graham Sankey (otherwise known as a kopite but not in the Echo) responsible for that ?

Yeah but the murderers chant is stooping to that level. We don't need to do it and really we shouldn't. "Always the victim" is always going to sound worse if two minutes later we start singing murderers.

It is probably the fact that no responsibility has been taken over that specific incident and the lies and betreyals associated with it, by them, and the resulting European ban that coupled with their 'always the victim' mentality makes it all a bit rich.
I said in my other post in this thread they need to learn humility and responsibility. It took over 25 years for them to put a plaque up in rememberance for those that died through hooliganism at Heysel. Over 25 years.
Yesterday was a very poorly planned and executed PR gaffe, the manner in which they chose the more difficult and malign path to express their 'thanks' is the odious attention seeking behaviour of a internet troll. But I am not surprised because they have form for this sort of thing. I completely support our fans that turned their backs - just like the Juve crowd did.

Aldridge is sub-human.

Wrong. Always the victim song is 100% correct about them and should continue to be sung

I didn't mean that that song is sick and you know I didn't. Using the deaths of 39 people as a stick to beat someone is sick.

Not really mate you quoted both songs then went on to say 'It's still sick and we should stop it'.

It was sankey yeh. I honestly believe if that would have been everton the fans would have forced him to hand himself in with that poor lad stuck in jail.

For a club who have quite rightly fought for justice for so long and know ow it feels to be wronged, they treated that Bulgarian and his family like dirt.

The Irony that the general footballing public are seeing though, is that their false allegations are making the 'Always The Victims' song, absolutely bang on the nail.

They have committed to many sins now for the neutral to believe a word they say, a reason that the rest of the country used to roll their eyes about Hillsborough (many have apologised and admitted that they quite simply DID NOT believe the Liverpool Supporters claims).

Should we be so outraged at 'just a song' though ?

well in the context of it I think Yes, someone mentioned they could've used He Aint Heavy, well i think they couldve used a touch more imagination than that, they have after all a number of prominent singer/songwriter supporters. Or would they risk choking on their own words, unable to even utter anything positive in the direction of Everton.

Maybe we shouldve sang "You aint Bitter.... But Your ****ter."
