'THANKS' ?

They are so ****e at football now, that their only way of keeping ion the media is through controversy.

Like a 4 year old kid trying to get attention shout "look at me, look at me".

Pathetic club, pathetic section of fans, deluded to a man.

I don't sing murderers, but i do sing "always the victims" - why? Because they are, just look at the Suarez incidents over the years.

Thought Liverpools message of "Thanks" was ok - but ruined by playing YNWA, don't know what they expected? Its like Liverpool being at our ground and we are giving a message of support - so we'll play z cars for them. Don't know what idiot thought of that...

Spot on. It's no less disgusting than Kopites singing about Munich. Both are using the death of innocents as point scoring.

If people want to sing Always the Victims, fine. I've sung it myself plenty about Suarez etc. But the murderers chant doesn't do anybody any favours, and puts our club in a bad light.
There is no doubt that if it was the other way round Kopites would be doing the same.

Oh that makes it okay does it? That's what we pride ourselves on, being better than them in every way. We expect that sort of thing from them and using 'that's what they'd do' as an excuse is just embarrassing.

Is this really accurate from the lad who posted his pre match questions?

I hope this doesn't lower the tone of this particular thread, because I'm all for it and I think it's a great gesture for the majority of good blues, and if any of the mods want to delete this then I'll understand. But while I was on one of their forums to compile the Spyin' Kop, I lost count of the times I got called a murderer, we were referred to as Victims or Murderers, reading things like JFT39 and "well what about those 39 Italians you ****ing murderers" and other nonsense like that. There's still some utter ****ing bellend whoppers in their fanbase, but hopefully as you say, things will change for the better. In all fairness, they did get shouted down by a load of the decent lads on there, but the point remains that there is still a lot of work to be done.

It was all just a tenuous little PR game. Everyone was hating on the mighty Libberpewl because they have a racist striker that likes to eat humans, so they had to do something. They saw how we got some adulation through being respectful and putting football to one side for the greater cause, and thought it would be a great idea to latch on.

But at the same time, they had to save face in a vein attempt to pretend they are still relevant. They send their great and powerful leaders out during the week to sh*t all over us and spout the usual "we'll be top four next year lads" garbage. And then, just to ensure that they don't look too compassionate or too weak, they make sure that f*cking song is blaring as they make their brilliant goodwill gesture.

And then just to top it off, lets tell everyone just how nasty these Everton folk are after we did this big nice thingy for them! They sung a mean song and hate the dead people they've fought for decades to achieve justice for. They are the real villains! Not us! We're a caring yet powerful football club that cares deeply about the teams that we are considerably better and more important than!

**** them. Hang the kopites one by one on the banks of our royal blue Mersey.

People have different views to it, but I think it's not something that people should get angry or upset about. Is it ok for Kopites to make Munich gestures? No it isn't.

Yeah but the murderers chant is stooping to that level. We don't need to do it and really we shouldn't. "Always the victim" is always going to sound worse if two minutes later we start singing murderers.

At the end of the day the song is correct. Only liverpool could nearly kill a Bulgarian waiter and come out of it as the victims. Defies belief

A much as I couldn't stand Rick Parry, David Moores, Dagleish and all them, I really don't think that would have happened in that way if there was some semblance of "traditional Liverpool" still in charge of the club.

And as for Aldridge....he really really should know better

Aye, it just pisses me off how they make out the 'always the victim' and 'murderers' is about Hillsborough. It's still sick, admittedly, and we should stop singing it, but all we've done to support them through this and they try to make us look cnunts.

Btw, did anyone see anyone turn their backs?

Wrong. Always the victim song is 100% correct about them and should continue to be sung
