Novak got a stroke of luck in the quarters with his opponent retiring. So he was fitter than he might have been in the semi.

True, he perhaps should have lost to Musetti, but never say never with Novak

All of that considered, beating Sinner in this day and age is incredible

Tough to see him doing it vs Alcaraz on the back of this, but I wouldn't put anything past him at this point

Will be interesting to see if Alcaraz has a legit injury or if it was just gamesmanship. At one point today he was either about to retire or just completely faked out Zverev.

If Alcaraz is fit I think he wins relatively comfortably. If not then who knows after Djokovic’s performance today.

I didn’t watch the Alcaraz match but the score line was definitely interesting. Would never have guessed Sasha could with him that long mentally, but would make sense if Alcaraz had something physical going on
