Build in 1950 The original Crystal Palace was the 1st building put together using Whitworth Screw Theaded bolts (or any bolts for that matter)
Made out of Cast Iron and Glass it was nearly a 1/3 of a mile long and was completed in 190 days
Burnt down in 1936...which allegedly was a bit suss at the time...
@Alan Whittle

Built in 1950 but burnt down in 1936 eh @degsy? A sort of “Back to the Future” arson, if you will?
It was built in Hyde Park1850 for The Great Exhibition of 1851 and moved the South London (hurrah!) sometime later. My old man remembered being taken by his Gran to Crystal Palace Park for the annual bonfire and fireworks in the 30’s so maybe he was liable?
That pot has been missing from our exceedingly spacious trophy cabinet since 1913. It is the Kaiser Wilhelm Friendship Cup which we stole from Millwall.

Feel free to do that to the clique.....if there was one.
Must be a great Saturday morning you're having.
Try and enjoy the rest of your weekend...I will.
And humour mate.
He's about as funny as shabite on a new pair off shoes.
And he's got plenty of challenges on here.....
You seem a bit touchy there mate.
Apologies if my attempted humour offended.

1 in 18 people have a third nipple (polythelia). This means approximately 2,100 people at GP today have three nipples.
