Team vs Krasnodar

Just dont take any players who we might want to play a leading roll at Old Trafford, no Baines, Howard, Coleman, Oviedo...etc the fringe players, even if we lose id rather that than have tired legs playing United

For me Besic, McGeady, Eto'o, Atsu, Gibson and Oviedo should all play, probably Browning too if Seamus is still out.
Maybe a youngster like McAleny if Pienaar isn't available, but not too many untied young guns. We want a strong team out.

Howard

Baines/Oviedo* Stones Jags Browning

Besic McCarthy

McGeady Naismith Atsu

Lukaku

* Can't make my mind up

Apart from vs. Arsenal Lukaku doesn't work on the wing and we can't play on the counter as well without Mirallas.]

Then vs. Utd

Howard

Baines Stones Jags Coleman/Browning

Besic Barry McCarthy

Naismith

Lukaku Eto'o

Soak up their offence pressure them, get Lukaku to bulldoze their youngsters and Eto'o's magic feet.

United are
I think we're going to get beat at utd whatever team we play.

Without Mirallas and Ross we don't have anyone that can carry the ball with pace on the counter.

For that reason we should just play our full strength team and hopefully take a bit of pressure off.
pure [Poor language removed] atm, we should be looking to dominate their no exsistant midfield, and win by a goal or two.

Agree mate they are not to be feared. I don't think we can afford to rest too many for Russia either.

Would go Howard browning stones distan oviedo besic mccarthy atsu naismith mcgeady (pienaar if fit) eto'o

Not too many changes

Never underestimate Utd vs. Old Trafford. Last games they've started like the rs last season and even without Rooney they've got a formidable attack (perhaps more cohesion without Rooney).

My line up:

Joel
Browning - Alcaraz - Distin -Garbutt
Gibson - Besic
Atsu-----Osman-----Oviedo
Eto
*Oviedo could be swapped for Kone or Pienaar depends on who's the fittest.

I know there's quite a few rotations but this is a long trip, we've played a lot of games over the last few weeks and we have a massive game against United less than three days later.

It's not like this is even that week of a side, I would prefer Howard in goals but he has been pretty average the last couple of games and we do have to give Joel some game time. Garbutt and Browning are two young promising players who deserve a chance and this is a good game to give them that. Distin and Alcaraz are both very experience and think Distin will come good again. Besic and Gibson are both good players and i honestly think they'd make a good partnership. Atsu is probably a lock in to start, I'd imagine the same could be said for Ossie and Eto. The other wing will be interesting to see what we do, whether Oviedo, Kone or Pienaar is up to starting or if we give McAlney or Long a shot, i think McGeady should get the night off.

He has to play a medium strength team. A win put us almost through, and then we can rest.

Don't rest until we are through
Exactly if we lose this then that puts us under pressure for the next game. If we win that's 6 points and 1 or 2 wins away from qualifying.

If we go there and play a CB partnership of Distin and Alcaraz then we may as well not bother turning up.

Howard
Browning
Jags
Stones
Baines
Besic
Gibson
McCarthy
McGeady
Atsu
Lukaku

Rest Barry for Utd, give some game time to Gibson and with Coleman still struggling, Browning who impressed against Them, to get some experience.

A win here would put us in line to top the group and get the squad
