Quite glad really, I'd like to give Dunc a few games. At least until the FA Cup 3rd round.

To be honest, if needs be I'd stick with Dunc even till the summer (if another short term manager isn't a possibility)....

If there's no outstanding candidate available right now, we should be patient and wait... We've wasted so much time and money with Koeman, Allerdyce and Silva, that we really need to get the next appointment right... If that means waiting till the summer then so be it, as long as relegation doesn't become a serious threat...it's a total mess, but that's where we find ourselves

Utter guff.

So a load of footy fans, who have no access to the inner workings of any footy clubs, don’t have a network of players, ex players, club officials and other contacts as their sources, know more about what’s going on than a respected journo of many many years lol

Like I said, it’s okay to be wrong you know.
Hey, why am i getting quoted here lol

That was the kiz man

...renowned for it apparently. My son told me at 7am this morning not to believe this one, the agent is notorious.

The worrying thing is that Everton were seriously considering it.

Pereira's career since being interviewed by Kenwright in 2013 should have rung loud alarm bells.

Back in 2013 he was an up and coming manager who'd just won the league with Porto. Since then he's been all over the place - Saudi, Greece, Turkey, China. His only experience in Europe's top leagues has been a half season with 1860 Munich, which ended in relegation. He's certainly kept his agents busy, made a tidy amount of money for himself, but what legacy has he actually left at any of the clubs that he's managed ? And why was the Everton board looking to this money grabbing chancer to rekindle a struggling team facing a relegation battle ?

...I wasn’t aware somebody from the club had come out and said we wanted him.

As someone in the game, put @Keiran straight will you, as he’s starting to go all “ good guys thread “ again.

As per your earlier post, I would trust a collective of fans and my own perception more than a journalist because my livelihood doesn’t hinge on creating stories where there isn’t one, in an industry where accuracy is less important than speed.

Happy to be wrong and there are a great number of people who know far more than I, this is just my opinion on that subject. You disagree and choose to place your faith in your friendly neighbourhood journo, as is your right.

What are you talking about?

Can we not have a difference of opinion?

You’re prepared to place more faith in a journo than I would be. It’s not that bizarre.
