Thought he could have got the first, could have shouted for Jags pass back, in fact thats a not a bad 11 to start with City have tricky winger in Robhinho and SWP. Hibbert consistently performs well against the so called bigger named wingers.

First was a screamer that ok he could of saved but a keeper will only save 1 of them out of every hundred, and yes he could of called on the second and alerted Jags but so could anyone on the pitch but i'm sure they were caught by surprise just like everyone else.

Even putting what little blame you can on Howard for today, dropping him for Nash is not a good idea in any way shape or form.

As strange as it sounds im in the Howard out camp here, Shabbs makes a good point he does let in to many avoidable goals. If you ask yourself would Martyn have let them in its a big no!

Im not saying discard him compleately but i wouldnt mind taking a closer look at Nash.

Hibbert plays well against out and out wingers, I think Robinho might cause him problems. Robinho cuts inside and Hibbert doesn't like that.

Keep the same team, Saha in for Vic though.

Poor? thought that was harsh. In what way was he poor? What could he have possible done about any of those goals?

Well, Howard bowled the ball out straight to Ashley Young who scored the winner mate. He could have easily wasted time to ensure at least a point today even though we deserved all three.

He's been in excellent form, you've said so yourself despite not being a fan. Shabbs doesn't make a good point at all.

You don't drop a player who's playing well.

I disagree.........if theres layers who clearly make mistakes that loose games they should be "rested". Well i was agreeing with Shabbs when he asked the question would Martyn have made as many errors as Howard for me no.

Ive always had a high regard for Nash!

And i'm not actually the biggest fan of Howard :D

But just because Howard may or may not be as good as Martyn is no reason to drop him for Nash.Thats just crazy, Nash is not even Premierleague level and its dodgy having him as cover. The guy has been round long enough that if he was gonna make it he would of. He is a solid championship keeper at best.

I'm sure we all know of our defensive frailties at the moment so its hardly surprising Howard has let in a few. He has sure as hell saved more than a few though.

Didn't he recently break Big Nevs clean sheets and goals per 100 game records?

what you on about toccy. howards another gerrard. hes too nervous for me.

Look at his clean sheet record mate, look at it and jog on. Speaks for itself really.

He's judged by how many goals he concedes, judging by his record he doesn't concede alot.

And anyway, you don't drop players who are in form. Surely you should know that Shabby? It's the basics.

What mistakes?
