Taxi to Man Airport

Sometimes its quicker to Manchester airport from The Wirral.

Motorways and stuff man.

Quicker isn't cheaper lol .

Just phoned Davey Liver out of interest and they won't pick up from Port Sunlight , but have a sister company who might .

They guessed that their sister company would do it for about £45 which is rediculously cheap .
To give you an idea , Daresbury Park business park which I think is Junction 11 on the M56 to terminal 3 in a hackney car is about £36 .
That's with the first 6 miles being on tariff 1 and the rest on tariff 2 . That's about half way there , so if the journey was for example 40 miles , it would be 6 miles at tariff 1 and 34 miles on tariff 2 so the journey for 40 miles would be about £75 .

For a company to only charge £45 is an absolute bargain , and cheaper than I could actually do it as a favour .

you can probably get a discount if you prebook the parking online.
if i go away for 2 weeks it's cheaper for me to prebook parking than to get a taxi, and thats only about 13 miles, they want £60 cab £80/90 for taking 5.

Cigars, yes.

Go back where you booked your holiday and look to see if they do prebookable extras. If you booked through a tour operator, they usually do adds on for decent rates - airport parking and that.

Anyone have any idea how much it costs for a taxi from Port Sunlught to Man Airport?

I want to sound out here before I ring up taxi companies.

i normally leave my car at the airport mate when i go away and for a week it normally costs me about £45 - £50 for a week and thats the shuttle /premier park which is less than 1 mile away from the airport and they provide a shuttle bus every couple of minutes straight to the airport

i shall be doing that friday morning when i fly off on my jollies.

Cool m8 .
Went there twice in one year once . Can't remember where , but there was a pub called the Red Lion and the lads who run it are muso's , and sing every night .
Great place .
