One to watch out for and somone i thought id keep an eye on their progress was Chris Martin a young teenage striker from Norwich. He has scored five from his six champoionship starts since his debuet recently. Saw one of his goal on T.V. looked class, but yet to see him in a full game and all that.

Cole Skuse from Bristol City, i watched City on saturday and he did a good job in defensive mid.

21 aswell.

who was the sunderland midfielder/winger moyes was supposedly lookign at either last summer or the summer before?

Two words- Scott Sinclair. This guy is going to be a super star, he grew up in my home town of Bath and was snapped up by Bristol Rovers at the age of 7! He played in their first team at 15 and was then snapped up by Chelsea shortly after. He is currently on loan at Plymouth and has scored some crackers already.

I actually played against him when he was playing mens football for Bath Arsenal at the age of of 12! Fast as lightening.

Here is some more info on him:

Good thread Monty!

Just watched him against Leeds- the boy is showing some class at Swansea.

Remember the guy having 2 players outside him last minute against us and no defenders around him, he took it on himself and missed, wigan players went mad!

Been awesome at swansea though.

Tom hateley
Mark hateleys son, going to be a star in the future.,aged 21 plays center mid for motherwell,on the few times ive seen him he lookes class.Listening to craig brown recently raving about the lad hes convinced he will end up being englands center forward.Born in monaco and sounds like hes well grounded.snap him up !!!!

In many threads we are all talking about Moyes searching the lower leagues for players to bolster our squad. We can glibly make statements as though such a task is simple so lets try putting it into practice by nominating particular players for discussion between now and the end of this season.

The parameters for selection must be

1 Playing in the English or Scottish leagues

2 A player with youth on his side therefore no older than 24 years

3 If possible one who is likely to appear on the box so any performance can be assessed by all rather than rely on reputation.

4 When making a recommendation assess your prospect by marks out of ten

To start the ball rolling I would nominate a player we will all be happy to sign, David Nugent. I was first told about the talents of this lad by a mate who is a regular at Deepdale, everything I was told has been proven to be right. His perfomance level is consistently high and imo would be the perfect foil for AJ making our attack the quickest in the prem.

Rating 9/10 (ten has to be an almost impossible rating)

Discuss or nominate;)

Obviously Gareth Bale.

Andrew Surman is a decent prospect, Izale Mcleod?

Scott Sinclair is class, he comes from near where i used to live.

Varney is an interesting player, if he's out of the side Crewe get hammered, with him in they win, he must have something:sad: :)

We clearly miss the lies of Monty.....better quality of post !!

So 'we' thought Bale and Varney would make it. Scott Sinclair gotta lotta love though

Where abouts did you live Cal?

Sinclair actually has a twin brother and they lived a few doors down from me when I was renting, they used to play footie in the street until about 12am even though it was pitch black with only street lights to aid them!

Not quite superstar status but I see that he is going to Man City.

Scotts brother Martin is actually playing for the Paralympics team GB.

Anyone got anymore rising stars to mention?

Yep, Jack Hunt from Huddersfield Town. Fantastic talent.

He's a right back. Pace, determination, good bit of technique, not a bad cross.
