Where abouts did you live Cal?

Sinclair actually has a twin brother and they lived a few doors down from me when I was renting, they used to play footie in the street until about 12am even though it was pitch black with only street lights to aid them!

Somerset for quite abit, born in Liverpool but brought up in the dizzy heights of Somerset :P

I watched Barnes last night play for Derby against Briingham to see if was any good. The boy definitely has talent and will at some stage make the step up without doubht.

For me though his attitude was really poor, his body language, general play and how he related to his own and opposing players was IMO really selfish and egotistical for one so young with so much to prove in the game.

Red flags were raised pre-macth when Micheal Johnson (Derby's injured striker) mentioned that the senior players have to work hard on him to keep his feet on the ground. In the match what sounded the alarm bells for me was that MC Sheffery made a superb run to track back and put a great tackle into win the ball of him. He looked at Mc Sheffery as if he was something he just scraped of his shoe and sniggered at him scarcasticly as if to say "do you know who i am". I mean Mc Sheffery is probably the championship player of the season and has been almost top goal scorer at that level for the past three seasons/also palyed in the prem for Coventry at 17 and has recently been mooted for international recognition, surely he deserves respect at that level. IMO it was really poor!

For me Barnes is a quality premeirship player in the making perhaps even a future international starlet but his attitude/ego are poor for one so young. Could be one who may be dazzled by the lights of fame and fall into the trappings of same. His ego might find himself in the arsnal/chelsea/[Poor language removed] reserves for a few seasons without becoming the player his talent could develop him into. Lets hope not as there is undoubted quality there, praticularly if we firm up our intrest.

I watched him myself and can only endorse every word you've written Neiler, spot on mate. The match last week he was the same, a bit of arrogance is one thing, this cocky sod has it in barrel loads(y) (y)

Wel see gosling and sinclair in the cup this weekend plymouth are playing watford so should be intresting to see how they equip themselves against that standard of player! Wonder will Moyes go to any of the games!

Having said that i dont know if gosling has made the first team or are clubs just watching him in youth games.

Anyone see Billy Jones the Crewe right back whos on a free in the summer and weve been linked with?

Preston sliped out if the play off places today, may loose more ground as wolves are palying tomorow. The Nudge got injured and had to be subed no reports as yet on how bad it is.

Ive also been impressed with Grant Leadbetter @ Sunderland anytime ive seen him he seems a good play maker, he certainly has creative potential, a little light weight ala Ossie.

Yes I will watch the Plmouth match with interest. If he plays I'll also be interested in that Priskin, the lad brought on against us by Watford, he looked useful and against a weaker side might really show what he can do:)

Priskin eh must keep an eye! I think he set francis up for their goal against us on the opening day, i remeber him scoring in the game against Wigan that was abandoned and i think he has been red carded recently.

Had a bit of a search for Bily Jones and though i havnt seen him play some intresting points. In his 100 leauge apperances for Crewe

1) He has been named both young player and player of the season in his three seasons since his debut.

2) Has played in centre midfield and left back for Crewe fininshing one season as top scorer.

3) Has captained England at every level up to under 20 level (Still
only 19).

Seems one of his main atributes are his leadership qualites.

Kightley is also expected to play for Wolves today against WBA! I see the old Koumas link has resurfaced again, i was surprised he was voted the championship player of the year, i hadnt been really following his performences and didnt really here much of him through the media of how well he was doing. For me he didnt really stand out much in his time in the premeirship and perhaps he has found his level.

Koumas was great when he was at Tranmere, he reminded me of Steve Copple, always thought a mile ahead of his dimwit team mates. He does have an attitude problem and has a distinct lack of pace imo.

Im looking forward to seeing Kightly in the WBA match, should be interesting

So Knightley, Koumas, Zoltan Gera, Nugent, Billy Jones, all our championship targets?

Actually isn't Gera getting on a bit Sean:blink: If anyone is good enough then lets have them named so they can be watched on the box(y) (y)

What we should be doing is bargain shopping to back up the squad for any European adventure next season, we are much to thin on the ground for my liking:unsure:

Chris Gunter. He's a 17yr old right back at Cardiff that is already in the Welsh under 21 side and his manager at Cardiff believes him to be comparable to Bale at Southampton (albeit obviously on the other flank) and will be in the full Wales squad before long.

Well his manager is an ex blue Bruce(y) , I'll check him out next time the bluebirds are on the box mate(y)
