I can't see this posted elsewhere, so what do people make of this, first I've heard of it:

Rumours are gathering pace that Everton could well have a new owner at the start of next season.

Apparently, one of the parties interested in purchasing Liverpool Football Club have turned their attention to the Blues, believing the manager and squad to be superior, as well as being available for a fraction of the cost.

An American based firm of lawyers is believed to be handling the buy-out, which is supposedly in the 'due diligence' stage.

We've seen what's been going on with Aston Villa and Birmingham, West Ham, Portsmouth, the RS and more.

What we need is someone to part/full finance the stadium ....

None of this promising to spend all this fantasy cash on players.

THERES NO SUCH THING AS A FREE LUNCH.

The club's got to be run as a going concern.
