I'll get the doom and gloom out of the way now.....
We wont get takenover.
We've already sold Lescott for £15million (because we're [Poor language removed] and we're skint so we agreed on £15million).
Our "funds" wont be released till 3 weeks before the transfer deadline day.
We'll buy some random guy no one's heard of and 3 loans...
I'd have thrown Owen in there but he'll be off Hull City because no one wants him.

What you've got to remember though mate, Hull will have strong competition, you know 'cos Owen is such a quality striker, guaranteed 20 goals a season?

Gulfnews: Al Fahim denies stories about club purchase
That story states :
Speaking to Gulf News, Al Fahim said, "I have got nothing to do with this news and I am not aware of it."
He is the Portsmouth dude and hes said its nothing to do with him.
It then says :
WAM had reported on Sunday night that Shaikh Ahmad Bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Ras Al Khaimah Department of Customs and Seaports, had bought 60 per cent stake in a prestigious English Premier League football club.
The UAE's official news agency, however, did not reveal the name of the club, but said further details would be announced at a press conference to be held within a few days.
Shaikh Ahmad was to be appointed the honorary chairman of the club, the agency said.
