That's why I think it's one of the lesser teams in the PL. When they reveal which club it is, there will be a large amount of press there and therefore the new club, whichever it is, will get a lot of publicity for just being taken over.
No, the rumour that sombody was shown round our facilities. Was that rumour before or after the takeover rumour? It's such an obvious rumour to make up.
The club even came out to dismiss internet rumours that there was not an annoncement of a takeover prior to the FA Cup final.
But they said that no takeover was in the pipe line but that their were one or two ironsin the fire!

It was after, but I dont see why it would be made up. It wasn't related to the takeover rumour. I'm making that connection. Although it could be a health and safety check for all I know.

Oh, that I don't know. But even if that rumour is true and started earlier in the weekend it doesn't have to meen anything. For all we know, it could be that someone showed the facilities to some contractor to make improvements or repairs.
I agree, but it would be a bit of a coincidence that, of all weekends, a rumour that sombody was being shown around this week. OTOH, it wouldn't be surprising at all if it came after, because that's exactly the sort of rumour people start at times like this.

1) He knows well the whole of Everton cyberland is in meltdown and he choose not to mention any takeover, could have very easily have said nothing is happening, fact is he didnt even though im sure his Ross's and everyones elses at the clubs email and phone are going 90, if not supporters then by press a simple denial would sort it all out. This could be on.
2) Regardless of a takeover we have bid 15 mill for two players Defour and Naughton, so logic dictates we have a few sponds.
3) He mentions he has been talking to players so we have A) Agreed a fee with a club and are in negotiations with players or B) Are talking to Pennant or Duff.

Yeah, why is it taking so long to announce this takeover?
Thats the thing its investment not a takeover right?
Will be glad when it's announced which club it is. Hate the uncertainty. If it's us than great(hopefully), if not we can at least move on.
