Well first final for us after 7 semi final losses… I’ll take it on any pitch.. and it feel the scrappiest of routes compared to so many doninant but ultimately failing showings.
Not sure who we would rather face in the final. India and England both exceptionally dangerous
I have enjoyed the emergence of the USA but beyond that I think it's been a poor tournament .
The pitch in New York was terrible but the 1st semi final pitch was even worse.
The fact that there was a spare day set aside for the 1st semi but not the 2nd and in the even of a wash out India go through as the higher ranked team makes a mockery of the competition
international cricket tournaments are always a mess. They haven’t worked out a formula that fits best. Think they would be best doing a best of 3 knockout or something, given how much can depend on the toss.
