Is the DVD player connected through a HDMI cable?

No Dylan, its goes into a seperate port but its not HDMI. Its connected with a scart lead. I only had 1 HDMI cable and I put the ps3 thru it. The DVD player is the only other thing I have connected to the telly.

It will likely be the cable or the PS3. See if a mate will lend you his cable to try. If that doesn't work, try another HDMI device (DVD players, HD DVD players, Blu-Ray, another PS3 or an Xbox 360).

Thanks for that one. I think its the best option (y)(y)(y)

have you tried switching it off, waiting 5 secs and switching it back on again?

this seems to solve most problems...................according to virgin media cos thats what they always tell you to do.

Another thing it may be is some tvs will only play 50mhz and some play 60mhz. Just have a quick check of the settings of that and try your PS3 on 50mhz to see if it sorts it

vim just wants lifesize porn, hairy minges in h.d. with every folicule visible.
so whats this hd like then mr fuego ? vim...well i'm not saying it's clear but i paused a 'buttman goes through the undergrowth" last night and i actually managed to count her pubes.

on that evidence it would be better at my place as i dont have a ps3.
