Cahill showed respect to the fanbase and loved the club, no way can you compare the two

Well here is the truth , Distin youve been shyte and not good enough for a while now.
The truth also hurts.

I loved him for all he did but he is clearly fond of himself and struggles to deal with the inevitable decline.
Strong solid dependable fast and steady defender in his prime , sadly has been the anthesis of this for far too long now and is in danger of being remembered for the bad stuff , I wonder if he will in time regret being a nob .

Have lots of fond memories of him and wish him the best.
 
Credit to Distin really for not displaying dirty laundry in public before the season ends. Otherwise there would've been more cracks visible on the glass to our already disappointing season. Fair play to the fella, one of the most fittest players in the PL over the last decade. Good solid no nonsense reliable defender overall. Hope he does a Rio Ferdinand and joins a newly promoted team and does well before hanging his boots.

Let's be honest there's a good chance Distin wouldn't have single handedly put us out of Europe like Alcaraz did but yet Alcaraz is in the squad every week and will probably get a new one year contract.

I'm a big Distin fan and I think he atleast deserves a bit of credit instead of ripped into.

Get the violin. Distin cost us massively this season.
Not to mention that semi final.

I hope he does. Guaranteed 6 points next year.

So has Distin, it's only since Martinez has come in that he's got a bit snide and he came out and apologised to us for the semi final.
Plus that semi final wasn't all his fault, we were s**t in the second half, u could blame drente just as much for being a melt and not turning up, resulting in moyes having to use Coleman as our only attacking sub.

Hes always been a bad snide off the pitch, as stated a few pages back, offering out fans, missing training, sarky comments on twitter, rowing with teamates cos he cant take criticism

Was a very good defender for us but ill always remember him as being a bit of a tit
 
He was a fine player in his day and he's done great things for the club blah blah blah blah...

...But is he gone yet?

You not been watching this season

As for Distin, I'm gonna hold fire on attacking him yet. We don't know what's gone on and who is being the bell.

All I know is Distin has been a good defender for us for many years. Was brilliant last year. And I find it impossible to believe he'd declined so much over the summer to be dropped behind alcaraz (who's not worthy of wearing the shirt!)

Our defensive woes this season were down to one man (martinez) and I get the feeling Distin has been made scapegoat by roberto. Or maybe Distin said something? Who knows....but since RM changed our tactics at the back wev been solid and kept several clean sheets!
