City Fm always talk [Poor language removed] though there the tribal football of the airwaves. No smoke without fire and some reports are indicating that he prefers a move to Everton. I think whats going for us is the fact that many of our players have broken into the the England sqaud in recent years and no doubht he will be thinking of the world cup in two years time, you never know he may have become mates with Lescott, Neville or Jags at least he knows some of the boys and they could even be bending his ear.

Another factor in his decison may be who we are intending to sign, we dont really have a clue if we are still in negotiations for Mouthino or not and this could be an influence, to give a glass half-full prespective maybe if he comes on loan it will leave us with he lolly for another Marquee signing.

Its interesting we seem to be after out and out wingers could be a mastersrkofe with either Pienaar or Arteta moving inside.

Radio Merseyside football show, though i agree about City.

"ok accordin to some pepole on ere swp was at finch farm today this not true! but i can tell that david moyes is meetin or has met with swp sometime tonight to try an convince him his future is with the blues and that they are very confident of gettin there man, if swp agrees a deal will be done tomorrow hopefully, also been told that there will hopefully be 4 signings in all that includes jacobson dont know who the other 2 are! this is all i know up to now and will post any news i have tomorrow hopefully good news."

He's usually spot on, he's been reliable on a few things in the past. He was the first to come out with the Lars Jacobsen signing.

Hopefully Moyes convinces him mate.

He'll be a superb signing, a signing like Yakubu was, a signing that we wouldnt of imagined would come off.

When he's on form, he's electrifying.

Haven't got a clue to be honest, I just remember him being reliable in the past. He was the first to say Fernandes had joined last season and he was the first to come out with the Jacobsen one the other day.

Imagine the crap they'll take if they stumble tomorrow and let Standard pull off the shock of all shocks. (y)

One away goal might do it.

You know it's possible. Maybe not probable but possible nonetheless.

your right (or wright, sorry), he wasnt at finch farm today, cos ive just spoke to my mate ian, whos the hospitality manager at city, and he said he was in a conference room at city, with his agent, mark hughes and citys solicitor!

but hopefully, if theres any truth in what you say, hes meeting moyesy because he wasnt happy with what he was offered.

he also told me bell-end bellamy was there unofficialy on sunday, and look what happened today.

id imagine the 4 are jacobson , zigic , swp and riera.

zigic - may be off to villa
swp - may be off to city
riera - off to liverpool by the look of things.

so unless we pull out all the stops , jacobsen could be our only signing then.
