Spurs have Lennon and Bentley, there covered in that position.

The only team I'm worried about our City.

City are after crying arse Bellamy so I'm hopin they get him and blow most of theyre kitty. The only drawback for us is wages. Not sure he'd wanna go back to city to be honest. It hardly ever works out doin that. He'd give us a lot of pace up front and we could be a tough team to deal with. I'm hopin like mad here. Lets pray Bellamy isnt comin.

Dissapointing if true, did he sound convincing or did it sound like bollocks?

He seemed very convinced about it all, even went as far as to say it wasn't a choice between us and City because it appears money talks, and we are [Poor language removed] skint, Chelsea refused the loan offer.

we are not skint we have johnson + mcfadden money at worst, my reckoning that would persuade chelsea into selling

City Fm always talk [Poor language removed] though there the tribal football of the airwaves. No smoke without fire and some reports are indicating that he prefers a move to Everton. I think whats going for us is the fact that many of our players have broken into the the England sqaud in recent years and no doubht he will be thinking of the world cup in two years time, you never know he may have become mates with Lescott, Neville or Jags at least he knows some of the boys and they could even be bending his ear.

Another factor in his decison may be who we are intending to sign, we dont really have a clue if we are still in negotiations for Mouthino or not and this could be an influence, to give a glass half-full prespective maybe if he comes on loan it will leave us with he lolly for another Marquee signing.

Its interesting we seem to be after out and out wingers could be a mastersrkofe with either Pienaar or Arteta moving inside.

we need a lot of players , if chelsea are willing to let swp go on loan (with an option to buy) then thats saves us 10 million to go towards buying another quality player.

makes sense to me.
doesnt make sense to me mate, chelsea want cold hard roubles, to put put towards robinho, so they dont have to ask sugar daddy for it all. city = 10m cash, everton=loan=no cash. who they gonna give him to?. we will just miss another one, and i reckon we will regret this one,at that price too.

also ,you say put the money towards another big name signing, we aint gonna get one now, which big name players gonna want to come to a club that everyone else has knocked back? if indeed we do have the said money to spend ,we stink of [Poor language removed] now lolol.
moyesys already said its plan c now, get anyone in to make up numbers.

I hope a decision either way is made sooner rather than later - we can't be hanging around for the guy til 11.30 on deadline day.

Ideally I would rather see him in a shirt of the royal blue variety, but City seems the more likely of the two for him unfortunately.......just my opinion.
