You don't know that, I could quite easily say the following:

Moyes has money to spend, but he has been setting his sights too high.

Of course i know that. He might not have had the ability to buy big but he have had any sort of decent money he would have signed at least 1 player.

It is obvious to those who are not on the kneejerk bandwagon - Moyes has been trying to sign players that are not middle of the road, or are not bargains. He wants to sign players like Moutinho, top class players. But when you dabble in that area you get burnt by [Poor language removed] house agents who always want their pound of flesh first.

If you bother reading what the manager has said recently, you would know.

Everything starts with a rumour. But I think you guys need to remember that we can sign players, we do sign players. Moyes has over stretched possibly, and we have found we don't have that extra 5m to offer the bigger players. Plus the [Poor language removed] stadium issue hasn't helped.

Going to Kirkby would I believe have been a great selling point for bringing in players.

As it is we can't use the Triple tier main stand anymore, because its no longer the 80's.

Doesn't mean we have no money though.

Because he has been trying to sign players who are beyond him. He realises this and that is why he is changing his tactics, and why he has said he has let the players down.
