To be honest that's never been proven, he started in the middle and never really did anything special. Moyes moved him to the wings and he got better and better, one of the best right sided midfielders in the Prem.

I'm not sure Moyes fancies him there, we'll have to wait and see though. Thats where I'd want him to play if we bought Wright-Phillips.

Got ya. I must have misinterpreted it on the OS.

Jacobsen has been on Merseyside at Everton's Finch Farm headquarters and will sign a one-year agreement subject to finalising a medical examination on Tuesday morning.

So is the finalisation just the crossing of the T's and dotting the I's?

SWP could be our biggest signing this summer. It would make up for a great deal if we could land him. I think our chances of doing this would be much greater if we can offer cash up front instead of going for a loan deal. Given that the Riera bid looks likely to fall through, let's hope we can use the Riera money to seal a permanent deal for SWP. Please Moyesie, don't mess this one up, it's too important.

I really really hope we get this lad, he'd be one of my priority signings. We've lacked a winger for years, someone with pace and trickery who can carry the ball and run at people. He also has his faults but that pace is something we lack in midfield and it really would give us another dimension.

He's also proven, you know what your going to get from him. It's dissapointing that we've offered a loan deal, we should be looking to get him permanantly.

I agree with you, mate. Someone like SWP would be ideal at getting in that service to Yak. You give Yak enough sniffs at the ball and he will score. This would be damned good signing.
