Cheese on toast is the correct answer at manager.

Quit fuming at Moyes. We need investment/new board. They can shove it.

He is negative... Can we call him Moyneg instead of Moyes?

What about moynegrito? it's a friendly term where I'm from.

I think the in first post in this thread Moyes was saying that the top priority of avoiding relegation should be completed as early as possible and then we'll push/experiment.

I don't think Moyes will experiment even after the clubs premiership status is assured due to the 500k extra for each place higher you finish in the Premier League.

I'm sure that wouldn't be the case if we hadn't been forced to sell the players we have.

I fumed in the Summer. Now I fume at this board on behalf of Moyes.

We were exactly the same last year with Arteta and Pienaar in the squad. It isn't player quality that is holding us back, it's negativity from the whole club top down.

My 2 cents.

Instead of looking at the 8 players we've sold in the last 18 months, look at the players we have. They're not bad some of them you know, a couple of world beaters actually. I'm pretty sure they could be achieving more.

Moyes will take some blame as rightly he should, he's the boss. And I'm sure, as the saying goes, that shit flows downhill, so no doubt some of the players will be getting a lashing for their performances too.

I won't moan though, I haven't bought a season ticket.

Moyes is a good manager, but he is NOT above criticism. That is it.

The football we are playing, for the most part isn't as good as the players playing it. The boss is responsible for that.

Halewoodblue v2.0

For those who were here long enough to remember and know who I'm comparing to.

Anyway it's not much about what Moyes says, it's how he made us play and who he puts on the pitch comes matchday. Sadly both off field comments and on field tactics failed considerably. And I don't see him changing his way until we miraculously wins 5 games in a row. Reactive rather than proactive, that's Moyes.

looking at the other teams in the prem and our squad he should be looking at 7th. what he will do is keep saying the same things about money ect. and people will start to believe that the squad is crap and he is amazing to keep them mid table. he has been doing it for years and people have fell for it. its like an excuse before failing so when you fail the blame has already been deflected.

The football we have played for the best part of this season has demonstrated that survival should be our first goal, we have been utter, utter bile.

yet we have 20 points in 15 games... well on course to get above that 40 point mark

But the football we've played is surely down to Moyes himself mate? As proven against Swansea we still have the potential in our squad to play good football.

Bit of a chicken and egg scenario!
