Superbowl - The Who at half time

I thought The Who were pretty good actually for the short amount of time they were on the stage.

Not much of an American gridiron football fan myself but you have to watch the Super Bowl just because.

Oh, and I thought the Snickers commercial with Betty White and Abe Vigoda was by far the best.

Mary Tyler Moore & Barney Miller. I thought they were both old when I was a teen watching them on these shows. Betty White is ageless and still is funny. She was good in the Proposal.

All I could think of while I watched The Who at halftime was the" Live at Leeds" LP.

I loved that show when they ran it over here. Some of the characters were superb. The laconic Deitrich; the easy-going Inspector Frank Luger; the Nixon-loving cop - Scanlon I think his name was. A real gem.

Thankfully the match was a lot better than Daltrey's performance.

Still......The Who have given me so much pleasure over the decades I can forgive his vocal limitations these days.

Whoever said the E-trade baby, never saw the original. The new one is blah! Bring back the old one, no matter how old he is today.
