Reidy's Bottle Of Grecian

The Unobstructed View
we all like a nice pair of sunnies.
for me it's been a catalogue of errors over the years from

sitting on them,

being hit in the mush by a ball with them on,

heading a ball with them on my forehead,

one of the kids breaking the placky "wrap" type ones,

leaving them on a sydney deli counter but realising my mistake before getting to the door only to be met with a blank expression and "nah mate, haven't seen them",

to getting the best pair imo that i have had nicked from my car in the crime-free paradise that is new zealand's south island.

i still mourn the loss of the latter pair, Killer Loop Pandemonium. the most comfortable, least light seeping pair i have ever owned, the most expensive pair i've ever owned, the style that i cant find for love nor money, the style that had many copies but i cant find no matter where i look.

i wont spend a lot of wad on sunny's now due to the reasons above, if i had to have prescription ones it would be different but i have 20/20 vision (and i dont mean i've slugged a litre bottle of mad-dog). i've had my current pair for maybe 18 months but are now a bit stuffed due to the youngest bending the arms the wrong way, which with placky ones tends to put stress cracks in the lenses.
so my search for some summer eyewear is on, i know oakley eye jackets etc etc etc are all boss but no way will i be paying that sort of money, fakes will do for me tbh.

currently 'eyeing' up a pair of these

or these

although the tan-lines would be a bit big with those.

the only prob with on the internet is not being able to try them on though.

dont like wayfarers, dont mind aviators although would only go for some mirror 'chips' ones.

what do you shade your mince pies with.

btw i don't wish to look like lance armstrong, a triathlete or dog the bounty hunter

I bought a pair of RayRans for a £5 off some dodgy street seller, when i got them home my g/f pointed out that they were female. Thats probably the only pair i ever bought and no i didnt wear them.

Does anybody still sniff glue?

The deaths of glue sniffers is ``a terrible indictment on the city'', Christchurch City councillor Carole Anderton says.
Council youth advocate Robyn Moore told the community services committee yesterday that the number of glue sniffers in Christchurch was falling as six had died and no new ones were taking their place on the streets.
The number of glue sniffers on the streets had hit a peak of about 20. This had fallen to 14 with recent deaths. Retailers were divided on the extent to which the glue sniffers were a public nuisance.
they made some concrete bunkers so they could shelter from the rain.

based on price and style "x-loop" seem to be floating my boat at the moment, they seem to do 'rips' of all the popular brands and styles so i think they could be getting a prestigious r.b.o.g. seal of approval.
sod's law dictates that if you spend £2 on a pair they last years, £200 and lucky to survive the 7 days leading up to your hols.

I have bought several pays off xloop sunnies of ebay, as i too spend as much time sitting on them as wearing them! They are generally decent quality of plastic build, mimicing your oakleys etc. I'll get you a link to my fave seller, where u can normally pick em up for £5/6 inc p&p...
