Very poor performance from us today but at this stage the result is all that matters and we have come away with all 3 points thanks to an AJ goal. Survived a late scare but thanks to Howards great save JL clearence off the line we are now on the same points as that lot again. Pressure back over to you Liverpool!!

Sometimes I hate the phone-ins after the game. Some of these [Poor language removed] are never pleased, always got something to [Poor language removed] moan about - sounds like my mum.

I am honestly going to measure my BP now my pulse is racing, for all the wrong reasons, at least we won ugly again(y)

Just measured it three times, 183/102, that is high considering all my medication, wife wants me to sit down so I'm doing it here:lol::lol:

I don't see us beating Fiorentina

If they are planning to play the way they did in the 1st leg and against Sunderland, the answer is we won't beat Fiorentina.

If we are planning to play one of our best match this season, we will get through!

Which team is planning to turn up on Wednesday? We shall see then!

sunderland have won every home league game since dec 29th, i guess a narrow win isn't terrible, though i'd much prefer we sent a message to fiorentina, which we obviously didn't.

We dont usually put up sparkling performances against the lower-placed sides, we win. We beat Reading, Wigan, Sunderland now, by grinding it out. We've beaten Portsmouth, City and others by playing really well. We can up our game vs Fiorentina and we have every chance in the world of winning that game.

hey, it could be a good thing if they expect a walk through, it would make our task in getting early goal much easier.

Just finished dancing round the house!! Great reasult, was'nt the pretty'st of games but we won. At this time of the season it's all about 3 points. Thats it,victorys not performances.

We'v ground that out today. an been lucky late on, but nether the less its three points an the pressure back on the [Poor language removed].

COYB.........fukkin get in!!

Arteta looks like he needs games under his belt.....

He will and they are coming thick and fast, I jsu hope the lads aren't as jaded as they appear, every game is a cup final week in week out, it can't be easy. Summer time here's hoping for some more versitile players coming in to help bolster the squad. I think Moyes has been unlucky with Grav and the other one, both have flopped badly
