Completely confused why he wouldn't want to play Mirallas and Barkley.

But, I think he's earned all of our trust.

COYB.

yeah, as we saw vs fulham, it's not always the XI that start are our best XI.

think mirallas should have started with the kick up the arse tbh. maybe he's thinking about all the games though :s

I disagree !

Today was NOT the day to be rotating and funking around. We have just come off one of the best performances we have seen for years, bumming Arsenal to the point that at times, they were chasing shadows. I would of stuck with this team

Howard
Coleman
Distin
Stones
Baines
McCarthy
Barry
Mirallas
Barkley
Lukaku
Naismith

Away to a Sunderland team desperate for points and coming off a thumping by spurs shouldn't be underestimated.

That's fair, but Sunderland and arsenal are 2 very different teams. He's probably tweaked the tactics to counter sunderlands team and style of play. We'll see if he was right to do so in a couple of hours!

Would personally have preferred Naismith to come on as sub in the next 2 fixtures then start against the ManU.

If only to give McGeady and Mirallas extended gametime and form, but also because he is our most effective substitue, if we can't get a breakthrough against these lower sides
