Great preview, as always.

Will miss the match as am doing a Warrior Dash up in Phoenix. Hoping a 3-1 win, but imagine it will be tighter than it should just so the faithful whiteknuckle it for 75 minutes before someone unexpected pops in the winner for the Toffees.

Hoping after I cross the finish line, retrieve my bag (phone) and free beer, I can fire up FaceBook to see a bunch posts from GOT of EFC players going all limbs.

I am reluctant to [Poor language removed] the herein present bubble of euphoric optimism, but this pre-match thread is sounding and feeling a LOT like the boxing day one (from both sets of fans)...this slightly concerns me.
eh??. What bad language?. The word rhymed with trick and required a pin lol

I hope we destroy these about 55 nil. I want it to be as hard to watch as that bit in American History X where the fella's teeth touch the curb because we're too preoccupied with bumming these all over the show.

No, the past 2 meetings between us didn't leave a bad taste in the mouth, why do you ask?

If anyone didn't pull a face like they were eating the mother of sour lemons when watching that scene then they are something else

Quality preview - as always.

Poyet is high up on my list of most hated Uruguayans, so nasty words about him made me chortle.

I've been more bothered about this and the Southampton game than our home games against Manchester's City and United.

Getting beaten in two big cup games within the space of a week has flattened these lot, they played like a team already relegated for most of Monday's game vs. Spurs. This will be different against us, they are at home, owe their fans one and realistically need to win to keep up survival hopes.

This is a new Everton though, no 'after the Lord Mayor's Show'. We're gonna beat them - they ruined my Boxing Day!
