Just wanted to pop by and ask you what you all reckon about Louis Saha?

Louis has just signed a 1 year deal with us, to bolster our attacking options and also to bring in experience up front to bring the younger ones on.
I must stress that Louis shall not be our main or primary striker, and that we will probably get somebody else in before the end of the window. I think Saha shall be used more as an impact sub in the last 20 minutes of games.

What was here like during his time at Everton, and what did you all think of him? Thanks.

Now all we need is Defoe, then I can sleep peacefully at night. :D

He used to be boss when he was arsed mate and then faded into being badly anonymous by the end of his stint. Thought it might just be him going stale by how he started ace at Spurs but then he returned to form.

On his day he's one of the best strikers I've seen in an Everton shirt, he's pretty much got it all. I think injuries have took their toll on him but I hope he works out for you as Sunderland are one of the only clubs I've got time for apart from Everton.

I thought you'd be spending big this close season with O'Neill there, what's happened mate?

on HIS DAY as good as anything ive seen, problem is there wasnt enough of those days ,might be a tad to cold for him on wearside

Great when hes interested, but that's not very often.

Very lazy, holds on the the ball, would rather slow the game down to allow him time to get into the box, rather than keeping the pace up and letting someone else score.

When he's fit and in the mood he can be very good. Sadly he was rarely fit and in his last 6 months wasn't in the mood.

If you can find someone else to do all the work and lay the chances on a plate for him he MIGHT be alright. He looks like he's all but finished though really.

Lazy and disinterested in many games, unplayable in the others.

Great movement and intelligence with great goal potential from any angle giving how good a striker of the ball he is.

However, don't expect him to contribute on the workrate front. He struts about the pitch like he's on the beach sometimes.

He's not bad for you on a free, basically.

Not so sure, it's all very strange right now.

Bent - 24 million
Henderson - 18 million rising
Gyan - 12 million
New sponsor - Supposedly 15-20 million (Although I hardly believe it)

We have money in the kitty to spend, but things are moving very slowly currently. However I have full confidence in the Chairman and Manager, and I still think we shall get a few more heads in before the end of the window. Like I said, we need another striker and also an attacking winger, ideally I would love us to get Defoe and Adam Johnson, but I doubt it.

Scored some goals for us though. He's a good player.

Like the other lads said though, they are pretty much spot on.

See how it goes mate, there's better value at the end of the transfer window.

If you get off to a good start you could have a very decent season.

That's what we need, somebody to finish the created chances.
We have a lot of creativity when attacking at teams, through Sessegnon and McClean, but just nobody to put the ball in the back of the net. We still haven't replaced Darren Bent.

He was ok for us but his last 6 months for us was terrible, was made up when he left us cos i couldnt bear watching him anymore, he would never be in the box either, always in the wrong place.
