This was exactly what I was driving at. It's not Sunderland per se that I've been raging against - it was the


fan brigade that STILL won't protest or make any real stand against the way their club is run. They see some intrinsic merit in "laughing at the Mags" while they plummet, it makes no sense.
They just do not have the leaders among them that our fanbase does. I think only Bill has avoided a full mobilisation against him and even then, his grand scheme to move us to Kirkby was crushed by a fan-funded representation at the inquiry. You get the impression Sunderland fans could be sold a ground share at St James's Park and would still try and be 'everyone's second team'
