With Dellboy as owner god knows mate, debt wise not too bad Ellis Short cleared the £130m we were in but with these barrow boys running the club a dread to think sounds like £20m

In non-football business its very common for a senior manager to bring in backing and buy a majority stake in the club.

Allardyce would be a great appointment as manager with a shareholding as part of the deal.

Quite surprised thats not been put on the table by someone. Even if not Allardyce, someone else who wouldnt normally manage below the premier league

What is your favourite Sunderland AFC memory of the last decade?

Mine is where they voted for Brexit and got relegated three divisions.

Lol.

Its on the tv show where they massively overpaid for a striker who has totally flopped. Even when the manager told them not to.

Will Grigg is probably that divisions biggest flop.

Stewart Donald is a genius. He's claimed that Sunderland fans harassed his daughter at a bus stop and this is putting off investors. Now it might be true - and if so, it is horrific and very much aligned with what we have seen of the Headpatters on here - but he's basically said, at the height of the pandemic when most local transport was cancelled and schools were closed, his daughter - of a multi millionaire - was stood alone, in Oxford, waiting for a bus to school, identified and set upon by a roaming gang of Sunderland fans hundreds of miles from home, and he didnt report it to the police.
