Not sure if this is the right thread but I followed the above link to the Sunderland forum, had a mooch around and came across this thread on Heysel. Makes interesting reading.

There was a photo on there of lots of their yob fans in the fountain in Trafalgar Square. At first, I was angry as they debased a major cultural landmark. And then I thought "closest they've been to a bath in decades despite all the pigeon mess" so it made some sense.
