Birmingham Mail are reporting that we're interested in Marc Albrighton. Its a good source for Villa-related news with close ties to the club.

I think he'd be a good squad player. I enjoy his direct style.

He might not be the fastest, but he's not slow. Everytime I see him play, I think he's actually very solid.

Lol @ people calling Milner crap. He was a big reason City brought the game back to 2-2 at Anfield, and had a particularly good game against us the other day too. Really good (and underrated) player. Great engine, can beat a man and get the ball into dangerous areas, can play out wide or in the middle. Would deffo have him here, can't see it happening though.

Milner is quality, as good as Barry was last year for city this year and well we saw how he worked out for us, plus 5 years younger, be a cracking signing for cheap, but wages would be an issue

Milner was quality in centre mid during his last season at Villa. No chance it will happen though.

Theirs the tendency for us all to start linking young step over merchants, but part of what made it all work this year was the blend of the McCarthy/Barry types with the Ross's, need to keep that balance - just upgrade where possible

Milner fits the bill in all counts
