Internet links to Bony of Swansea during the week and I like him anyway and think for his first season he's done well but today he's played really well and looks every bit the kind of striker we need next season!

He comes deep to take the ball and holds it up well and brings others into play, he goes in behind and gets into the 6 yard box, he's an handful for defenders, he's strong, quick and knows where the net is.

He's got a bit of everything and I'd definitely give Swansea around £15m for him if I was manager.

Because I watch football
Wow, mature reply.

I was genuinely interested in why you think he's very poor, this being a forum and all.

I watch football too mate, and I think Danny Welbeck would suit one of our wide positions perfectly. He's brilliant at stretching the play, holds the ball up well and is absolutely terrific at defending from the front. I've lost count of the amount of times he wins the ball off an opposing centre midfielder and then plays a simple pass to start an attack which he is involved with because of his stamina.

He's not prolific so I don't think he's shat we should be looking for as our next CF but he could certainly offer us something up there if we needed to be flexible during a tough game or we had a spate of injuries.

And FYI, generally people can't be wrong on forums like this buddy because it's all opinion based. Chill out, get debating properly and enjoy yourself.

Either that or bore off.

Great result today blues!!!

What we need his a prolific goalscorer, so you want to buy him and play him out wide or accept that he won't be what we need?? Either way it'll be a waste of money; if you want to play him out wide then all you really need his a a pacey winger, thats what really stretchers play. Defenders become scared and are frightened of being caught behind, not an over peiced over hyped centre forward

He has no skill and his very clumsy with the ball. His control, for a professional footballer is awful, he's not a natural finisher.

and please don't gice me pointers on how to act on a forum

And if we made the CL or somehow managed to sell Barkley for 35million, add Fernando for 25million as well.

1. why on earth would any evertonian wanna ell barkley for any amount of money?
2. why on earth do you think a player who can leave on a free in the summer we should pay 25m for and why would we have a chance on earth when city are after him as well?
