...and some CB's that can head the ball into the opposition net....and some players who can cross a ball onto those heads....and do inswingers

Do think he'll persevere with Robles which is probably fair enough as he is young and Howard still has a season or 2 left in him.

I don't think pienaar or Osman should be disposed of but certainly shouldn't be guaranteed starters.

Call me nieve but I think kone will prove to be a good signing, again not a starter but off the bench I think he's been a massive miss this year.

Kone has been a very polarising character on this forum. I for one, agree with you and believe that his injury was a ripple that has become a large wave as the season has wore on.

[Thte="ijjysmith, post: 2573542, member: 6137"]Robles is a bit crappy at the moment.

But isn't our deal weird with him. Like he's still At Madrid's sort of, or they've got first option or some such?[/quote]

They have 1st option.

We could do a lot worse than sending some scouts out to Germany, they're churning out youngsters like...er...butter I guess.

Nicolai Mueller would be a quality addition, as would Kevin Volland.

We should have plenty of money available without selling Barkley. Remy is only on 75k a week, and well worth it. Tadic would be an ace signing. But we will probably just sign average cack for pennies, like McGeady.

This summer will be a tough one, if we decide to keep the loan boys in Lukaku and Barry then we'll practically have the same team as this year after spending 20+ million pounds.

I think Lukaku will go on to be a top top striker but I think there is better options out there in a financial sense that will enhance our squad.

When you look at Remy this year he has been fantastic at Newcastle and I think he still has an 8m release clause in his QPR contract, that would be a no brainer for me as I don't think his wages would top Lukaku's either.

Demba Ba is another striker who would cost significantly less than Lukaku and has done the business everywhere he's gone.

It would leave scope then to bring in a few more permanent additions along with adding a couple of loan deals to fill out the squad.

I think our biggest area for improvement has to be creatively in the final 3rd, we all know the big big difference is money but there is value out there that would improve us no end, possibly Tadic from Twente and I know it's like a broken record but we could do a lot worse than Lewis Holtby who doesn't seem favoured at Tottenham.

Martinez will no doubt be looking for players with greater technical ability than we've already got and if he's clever with the little money he's going to get (we know it'll be buttons) he could set us up for another season of improvement.

Maybe not this summer but I hope we replace Howard with Begovic, good goalkeeper.
Id like us to get rid of the deadwood and replace them with youngsters we could blood in europe if we get in.
Then improve the squad with big signings , Remy would be perfect for us.

Schmeichel
Coleman Jagielka Stones Baines
McCarthy
Tadic Uber-boss-unlocker Mirallas
Barkley
Uber-boss-striker-man

Possibly replace Stones with an uber boss Distin replacement.

Now, who are these uber boss ones I speak of?

Dunno
