That would be a worse "investment" than Kone for me.

pierre michel lasogga is an interesting one though. Linked with him this morning in one of the Sundays, big strong lad and young, decent scoring record and just been called up to the full Germany squad.

In to the last 9 months of his contract too and refusing to sign another one.

Sounds worth a gamble to me.

It would give some a stick to beat Martinez with if things started to go wrong and to be honest id pick it up and have a whack myself if he spent 10 million on Ba.

16 million on Kone and Ba? Both pushing 30? Hopefully there's nothing in that rumour as that would be awful business.
