Summer transfer window.

Will be Barry that stays and Beto that goes, purely because of contract lengths. I dont think either would be offered a new contract if the decision had to be made this summer, but Barry has time to play another season and try to earn a new contract, Beto doesn't.

Yes, this is the post of a guy clearly not rattled.

Put me on ignore: I will continue to post caution about injury prone players linked to Everton just as I did with Broja, and Ferguson, and Richarlison, and Ben White, who all, funnily enough, keep getting injured.
Ok la

I made a tongue in cheek comment about a non-player specific discussion (not argument) we had the other week. Off the back of which you have been not just ultra defensive, but also arrogant (you are a big guy on here, of course, lest I forget) and, tbh, quite childish in that quite internet-age way; initially saying that I'm upset and now 'rattled'. Yawn

All im saying is that Delap is not injury prone. But you never said nor implied he was, apparently? So I'm just howling at the moon.

And of course I'm not going to put you on ignore. I'm a 34 year old man not a 15 year old. I can handle a bit of back and forth

I said Delap is injury prone, I never said he had repeat injuries.

Let's see how next season pans out for him physically wherever he's at - hopefully not here.

They have a combined total lifetime professional goals tally of 11.
Alvaro would be a great fit for our style, tall, lanky, and great in the air (cavani-esque) . And Agustin has an aura of a dribbler (aguero-esque). I dont think either will be our first choice striker but would be a great 10+ goals addition to the squad first season. Both had tremendous youth outings.

I said Delap is injury prone

Based on what? Certainly can't be the data - got a great record for a lad who throws himself about.

Missed 15 games this year through a combination of a minor shoulder injury, flu, and then hammy early on in the season. But was fit for 100% of games last year.

What am I missing?

Multiple injuries in one season for a striker that requires on physicality is what you're missing, I guess.

I also said the rest which you deemed worthy of ignorance:

"Quite surprised Everton fans aren't interested in signing an injury-prone on-pitch thug that doesn't play well and already jibbed us off last Summer"

I also said the rest which you deemed worthy of ignorance:

1. Widening the sample size (which we should to understand if someone is prone to something), he's had two injuries in two years playing in the premier league. I'm sorry but that doesn't make you injury prone. One of them was a minor shoulder injury that kept him out for a couple of weeks and the other a minor (relatively speaking) hamstring injury that kept him out for two months. Other than that hes made nearly 30 appearances this year and last year didn't miss a game.
2. I didn't deem it worthy of ignorance. You said he was injury prone, Im saying the quantitative evidence on that is weak to non existent. Unless you've got some qualitative evidence, I don't think the statement holds to scrutiny. I'm not going to argue with the other points. You don't like him, fair enough. I'm not sure I do either.
