Summer transfer window.

People wanting shut of Iroegbunam dont know football. The feller's the complete package potentially. Besides that, he's 22 years old and loads of development to do.

By the time he's mid-20s he's going to be a PL star. Just because he's got a rubbish manager who cant develop him doesn't mean you get shut.
Look at the stats, which is what Everton do now. And his stats are poor, Apart from tackling and running, he offers nothing. Need dyche to get a new club because he suits a manager who wants grafters and who’s happy with 30% possession

I think Hackney is the key to unlocking a low block and helps a counter. We are rubbish e.g. Wolves, West Ham, Leeds at home. Not sure he is a true 6 though ball recoveries were good. Garner might then be depended on as 6. He isnt a big lad either. They are the fun players fans like rather than the boring defensive players managers like. We will need to be tall and robust in the DM and CB positions teams are targetting us. I do like Hackney though. So if I am honest its tricky but still want him.

Bobble isn't always right

Is hackney a 6?

To me he gets everywhere

Don't think him and garner would work?

I don’t think it does if we were planning on selling Alcaraz, Tim with possibly Gueye leaving too…

We only have Gana who is a proper DM. I dont see an issue with this
This is what I've read:

Hackney - His preference is to move to us. Club negotiating personal terms with him at the moment. Not believed to be an issue. Fee believed to be in/around £15m. The Bobble mentioned he would be coming in to challenge for a midfield role but not as an immediate starter.

As well as him we also hope to try and sign a defensive midfielder (No. 6) type this Summer but he didn’t mention any names./

I agree we definitely need to sign a 6. Think it more becomes a question of if we're trying to make our money stretch do we reeeaally need to sign Hackney? Good player but seems like a bit of a case of we like him and know he wants to join so we are just getting it done and figuring out where he fits later on.

If we can make it work then its a good signing but that 15m is the difference in price between Wan Bissaka and Guela Doué for example. Another cm to pair with Garner (not a 6) would not really be on the list of priorities for me at all personally.

Makes sense if we want to sell Alcaraz, Gana potentially going and if we are open to selling Tim for the right price.

That only leaves us with Rohl, KDH, Garner and Armstrong for three positions.
Yeah same bit of info says we are willing to hear offers for Tim.

I would keep him personally but maybe in the minority there.

Also we want to keep Gana and he wants to stay but he's asking for the same wage he was on last year and we're unsure about committing to that.
