Summer transfer window.

If they go down you'd expect he'd be a top target for Moyes.

Has the quality, experience brings goals and assists plus the fact he can play wide and up top.

Grealish, Ndiaye, Bowen & Dibling could be a good mix of wide options if were in Europe.
Can't disagree with your post.

I'm wondering if Moyes is going to want to keep McNeil now or not. He clearly prefers him over Dibling. I personally would love somebody to come back in with £20 million and we put that money towards a new striker.

Also I don't know at what stage Moyes is likely to give Dibling an extended run in the side. Unless he has a great pre-season he's not going to start the season as first choice.

If were in Europe then we'll need 4 wide players and while McNeil is in the team at the moment, he wont be when Grealish is back.

McNeil has 1 year on his deal and its not likely he'll extend if there are offers on the table for him to start elsewhere.

Wouldnt compare him with Dibling, two very different level of players at different stages.

I'm expecting McNeil to be moved on for £15mil+. Same as Alcaraz & Patterson will be sold for £20mil.

Further on the sales side, Beto also only has a year left, Barry clearly looks to be quite far away from what we need as well.

If we signed Bowen he'd be a starter at CF and a rotation option with Grealish and Ndiaye. @exetergently also mentioned that were watching/interested in Mukasa (on loan at Leicester from City).

If we signed those two then thats CF, ACM, RW all covered at starter and backup with 2 signings, in addition to Grealish.

McNeil and Alcaraz plus one of the forward players covers a significant amount of the expected costs.

Then we can focus on full backs.

Looking at the West Ham forum, there’s a section whose opinion is that he’s not been as good as he was which is partly the reason for them being where they are. If that’s true, id be weary….no point buying people on past form rather than current.
