West ham were below us but to be fair to both them clubs they have a chairman and board who back the club.
What will happen to all our sky money?

Can't say they "back their club". I'm sure Stoke's biggest transfer fee was for Peter Crouch for £10million and West Ham's was £15million for Andy Carroll.

For the sizes of their clubs to ours they are certainly offering their sky millions around.
West ham blew us out of the water with the payet deal.
If we are to spend big this summer we will have to sell one of our jewells.

IF we were interested. And £10million isn't really blowing us out the water. That will be pretty much their budget gone, maybe a few loans or a £5mill player.

I can see us spending £10million+ in the window without a doubt. So worrying about what Stoke and West Ham do shouldn't be done.

It was the wages they offered which blew us out of the water.

Lads, can you speculate in the other thread please.

Is right lads. I know it is a quiet night, but even so. We have a stickied speculation thread, so not hard to find. I really dont want to lob thread bans about, as it is laziness rather than malice, but please respect the thinking behind, and title of, this thread.

I've been banned twice from this thread for trying to express myself regarding our "links" or lack of - fair enough -I can see how totally annoying my posts must be when we want to read about a new signing.
So now every time there is a new post I think - "great something must be happening"

Surely talking about the lack
Of credible rumours is a fair conversation to have in a credible rumour thread? Otherwise how would you authenticate the credibility of a rumour?

Lack of credible rumours/links would suggest the speculation thread might be more appropriate for transfer chat?

So you can't comment on the validity of the material being posted in a thread. That's a pretty narrow channel of conversation for a thread. At some point the lines will merge. Talking about a lack of credible links at the moment is still within the confines of the topic mate.

And yet the last page is full of West Ham and Stokes wage bill chatter.

When will you children learn, the cookie jar is not for you.
