I think it's probably fair to say Hibbert has been on at least 25k a week for the past decade.

13 million pounds is what he's taken from the club in wages. Not even a goal to his name. Even Tim Howard has scored for crying out loud.

Let that sink in for a second.

Of course not, but if you enjoy being at a club, and the manager goes 'We want you to stay for two more years, you've still got a part to play for us', why would he say no?
It's beyond the point mate, he's a blue right, but he knows he cant offer the team anything, and he knows essentially he's fleecing the club, just because the manager foolishly offers him a contract, doesn't mean he cant and shouldn't say no. That's the point, he should have.

Has he said any of that, or are you just speculating?
He's clearly not interested otherwise he'd have gone when it became clear he was never, ever going to be first choice right back ever again.

He should have gone down to the Championship; I am sure if he had told the manager he wanted regular football he'd have ensured a decent team was found for him.

Anybody got the number for Saul Goodman? I'm gonna sue Hibbo for fraud.

He mainly spends his time now at the fishing company he owns in france.

I assumed this was a joke. Then I looked it up.

Hibbert is hardly the first player to take a lesser role at a bigger club/team/league etc. He's spent the majority of his life at Everton.

Coleman will be 27 in October time to start thinking about selling him we don't want to end up with a slow 28+ year old plodding around the pitch getting skinned by Charles N'Zogbia best to get what we can for him now before he declines in my opinion.
Aaron Lennon?...

I don't think you understand Hibbo's role...every organization needs a heavy. Peeps get out of line and it's chainsaws and bathtubs. He needs the fishing to have balance in his life 'cause killin' ain't easy.

Do you believe that it is Tony Hibbert who decides if he is given a contract at Everton . It is a decision for the manager to offer the player terms.

Tony Hibbert has been a loyal servant at Everton and deserves respect.
Yes, he has made a very good living but that is the industry he works in the opportunity was there for you to do exactly the same thing....if you were good enough.

It completely depends on how ready Browning is and if the manager believes he is good enough. You often see examples of quality players being sold allowing an even more promising player to push through from the academy.
Of course Kenny will also be pushing for a game.

That all said I don't expect that Seamus will be sold, nor do I want him sold.

the fact of the matter is we can't realistically get anyone better than seamus for that position. also with that in mind i would prefer us not to sell him - despite it being possibly the least important position on the field ... as someone pointed out, not for us though. with that in mind we'll outprice united imo.

based on them paying £27m on shaw - a player who will never be as good as coleman because he's pretty crap - we should be rightfully asking for £30m as the bare minimum.
